THE BRieF

The graphic design publication was created to showcase the program—its classes, its faculty, and the creative environment that shapes its students. More than an informational booklet, the goal was to design something that reflects the personality and energy of the program itself.

At its core, the project highlights what truly defines the experience: the people behind the work. While the book introduces the structure of the program, it also celebrates the designers within it—showing that the community and creativity of the students are what make the program unique.

THE PROCESS

From the beginning, the biggest challenge was finding a concept strong enough to carry an entire book. The publication needed more than information—it needed a clear perspective that could guide every design decision. The turning point came with a simple realization: the program isn’t defined only by the classes themselves, but by the people in them. Without the students and their personalities, the program would simply be another technical curriculum. What makes it memorable, engaging, and inspiring are the designers behind the work.

THE SOLUTION

The final publication focuses on designers as much as design. Images were edited using halftones and one-color treatments, paired with a bright, playful color palette that adds energy and personality throughout the pages.

That idea shaped the visual direction. The book became less about presenting polished outcomes and more about highlighting the humans behind the designs. Photography and image treatments were used to emphasize the presence and personality of the students themselves, creating visuals that feel expressive and dynamic.

By emphasizing the silhouettes and shapes of the people behind the work, the visuals draw attention to the human element within the program. The result is a publication that feels bold and approachable—one that celebrates creativity not just as a discipline, but as a reflection of the individuals who practice it.
